Life currently doesn't offer a complete backup and data import feature. However, you can create a backup of your data by following these steps:

  1. Activate the hidden Developer options in the taskbar menu by holding down the option key while left-clicking the taskbar icon.
  2. You will now see a new menu item where you can select Collect debug data.
  3. Select Open Terminal, press command + v, then return.
  4. Wait for 10-30 seconds until you see the sentence "Sampling completed" and Terminal returns to the command prompt.
  5. Go to your Desktop where you should find a ZIP-file titled "Lifeline_xxx.zip".
  6. Store this file somewhere where you keep your backups.

This file contains your data and can be used to recover your Lifeline history.

Currently, there is no import feature to do so, but we will build one in the future. If, in the meantime, if you need your data restored, don't hesitate to contact us (details below).
