When you run into a bug or other issue with Lifeline, it's helpful for us if you can include debug data when you contact us. You can do so by following these steps:

  1. Hold down the option key and (left)click the Lifeline tray icon.

  2. Select Developer options > Collect debug data.

  3. Click "Open Terminal" in the popup that appears.

  4. Press cmd + V simultaneously, then hit return.

  5. Wait 10-15 seconds until the Terminal window looks somewhat similar to the below screenshot.

  6. Go to your desktop where you should find a ZIP file named Lifeline_{date and time}.zip, for example Lifeline_2021-09-23_14-40-38.zip.

  7. Include this file in your correspondence with us.
